Yeah, 'Jump around waving arms like a lunatic' is overused among brainless kids who think they're funny. See also: 'Buh... buh... buh...', '(to) praise something like a second coming of Christ', 'overrated', 'overhyped' and 'biased media'.
I don't care about installs. I even install all my games on X360 to keep the jet engine drive quiet.
Not that small if you look at the map.
It's a conspiracy!
<If so, i better see some points being taken off for "not bringing anything new to the table.>
Or what? You'll cry and tell your babysitter?
M.ediocre A.verage G.eneric. The beta shows that you can't rely on gimmicks if the core game is nothing special. Just play Bad Company - except for player count it is superior in every way.
Name two.
Jaffe's concentrating too much on talking BS and not enough on making games. Give me a new Twisted Metal or STFU.
I guess it's good that there are no SpartEns in Halo.
I guess we can all sleep well now. Random Guy's Guarantee is all I ask for when spending money on games. Cheers!
Bullseye.
Yup, I love split-screen multiplayer. And the screenshot looks impressive. GOTY contender in graphics, in my opinion. Hopefully gameplay is at least as good.
Agreed. You can't make people play like a team, but doing so is a huge advantage in all FPSes.
Exactly. Wait and see. I'm not sold on it, but I'm not calling it a failure yet. And about the numbers: yes, 80% of publishers is different than 80% of developers. The latter would not only be impressive - it would be crazy. Smaller developers don't have enough teams to work on several projects at the same time. 80% of developers would mean that a lot of companies abandoned regular projects in favor of Natal. Sorry, not possible. Still, 80% of publishers gets the message across: it's a lot. I...
Hey, I enjoy it. At least I don't have to look for conspiracies everywhere. If someone says "80% of publishers" I see "80% of publishers" and not "We are the great Corporation of Evil! We will trick you into thinking that we'll have a lot of games, but we'll have less than that! Mwahahaha!". Besides, how many publishers are there? Even if each one works on exactly one game, that's still quite a lot. And according to other news, companies like EA or Epic are worki...
Eye of Judgment rocks. I bought it with my PS3 and it's one of my favourite PS3 games, next to Buzz and MS: Pacific Rift.
@Guido: ROTFL. That's the worst spin attempt ever. If they said "developers" instead of "publishers", or announced that Naughty Dog is working on Natal, you'd whine "Buh, buh, they didn't say they'll work hard!". Classic N4G.
Yeah, it's like saying "X360 is the place for HD movies". I was playing MAG last night and it's obvious that DS3 is not made for FPS games. It really needs a redesign. It's obsolete - fix it.
Actually I find KZ2 much easier and noob-friendly. I'm pretty mediocre at FPSes, but I was usually in top 3 in KZ2. Even with the laggy controls, it's pretty easy to score a kill and it's very easy to camp.
"Camping is nearly impossible in this game"
ROTFL
"You are forced to work as a team and if you don't you will surely fail"
Unless the other team is also made of lone wolves. And they usually are. MAG encourages team play, but it's nothing new. And as in every other FPS, it doesn't work, unless you're playing with people committed to this kind of gaming (clans).
